The Next Chapter: Building a Pro Club in Real Time
Imagine a true story that begins not in a sleek, multi-million-dollar arena, but on a cracked, almost forgotten asphalt court in Pančevo, Serbia.
A group of local basketball lovers looked at that abandoned space in Zeleno dvorište and saw something else. They restored the court, brought back the nets, and painted a striking mural of the legendary Serbian actor Nebojša Glogovac on the adjacent wall. Glogovac, deeply tied to Pančevo, starred in the iconic film Nebeska udica (Sky Hook). That movie told the story of ordinary people coming together to rebuild a bombed basketball court during tough times.
Giving the project its name was natural: Nebeska Udica.
A Story worth being Told
What started as a simple court restoration quickly exploded into a community movement. Children flooded the court. Free practices were organized. Local pickup games turned into structured tournaments. Then came a radical question: What if we built a competitive basketball club that redefined youth basketball in the region?
In a youth sports landscape dominated by pay-to-play academies, Nebeska Udica drew a line in the sand. Financial background should never decide whether a child gets to play, grow, and dream through sports.
Now, we are taking the next leap forward. We are building Nebeska Udica into a fully realized, professional club, and through an exclusive documentary web series, Accolade Sports Media is taking you inside every step of the journey in real time.

Pančevo is a city overflowing with basketball tradition and raw talent. We have already proven the demand by filling our rosters with over a hundred young athletes, including a rapidly growing girls' program. But to turn this momentum into a permanent institution, we need modern infrastructure.
